Purchase Administrator

Our client based in HX1 are looking for a Purchasing Administrator to join the well established team.

You wlll be required to process purchase orders, negotiate with suppliers, track orders, create and maintain an inventory, liaise with management, forecast the needs of the business and assist with budgeting.

Purchasing Duties:

Controlling and monitoring of goods in / buying
PO systems to ensure control re-authorisations and spend levels v budget
Investigate new and improved systems to continually improve
Utilise

SAGE
Negotiate new contracts and prices with suppliers
Place orders in an efficient and effective manner (i.e. group orders, minimise paperwork, insist on factory planning to assist)
Matching invoices & checking prices / delivery quantities
Transport bookings

Administration

Mastercard Reconciliations
Matching and signing off invoices
Assistance with costings – working with MD & Production Manager
Assist with the booking of hotels, vans, access machines etc.

Experience:

Previous experience essential within a purchasing role
SAGE experience would be beneficial
Computer literate and able to use all Microsoft packages
