Cogent staffing are currently looking for Sewing Machine Operatives for our manufacturing client based in Bramley, Leeds on a temporary to permanent basis.
Shift/salary:
- Monday to Thursday 08:00-15:00
- Friday 08:00-12:00
- £11.44 per hour
- Temporary, long term ongoing to possibly permanent role
The role:
- Following clear instruction to amend and repair garmnents
- Sewing labels
- At times, hand sewing
- Operating both flat bed and overlocker sewing machines
- Picking stitches as needed
The ideal candidate will:
- Have minimum 1 year experience operating industrial sewing machines (flat bed and/or overlocker machines)
- Be punctual and reliable
- Be able to work at a certain speed with minimal mistakes
- Suitable candidates will have previous experience in a similar role and will be invited to site to carry out a sewing machine test.
