Cogent Staffing are recruiting on behalf of our Huddersfield based client for an experienced and reliable Yard Operative & FLT Driver to join them on a temporary to permanent basis.
Shift/salary:
- Monday to Friday
- 07:30-17:00
- £11.44 per hour
- Ongoing, temporary to permanent opportunity
- Working Saturdays when needed
- Immediate start for the right person
The role:
- Loading and unloading items to site safely
- Operating FLT (counterbalance)
- Maintaining the yard making sure inventory is accurate and products are stored properly
- Quality checking products and reporting any issues
- Helping customers with products, prividing advice or info on products
- Upholding site health and safety rules
The candidate:
- Previous experience in a yard or warehouse environment is preferred but not essential
- Forklift license (essential)
- Ability to work in a physically demanding role
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
