Cogent Staffing are currently recruiting for Packing Operatives to join our established client on an ongoing basis.
Immediate starts available with potential for the successful candidate to be taken on a permanent contract after 12 weeks.
You will be working packing light sealed meat products in a chilled food environment. You will not be handling raw meat directly. This role involves some light manual handling, and also can involve working at a fast pace.
Shifts & Salary:
- Starting Tuesday 20th May
- £12.21 per hour
- Monday to Friday 3pm – 11pm, moving to 7.30am – 3.30pm after 1 week
- Weekly pay
Responsibilities:
- Packing already sealed meat products into boxes
- Working quickly and accurately
- Sealing, boxing and palletising
- Working in a refrigerated environment
- Labelling finished boxes
- No experience is required as full training will be given but you must prepared to work within a food processing, refrigerated environment. You will not be handling raw meat directly.
