Cogent Staffing are recruiting for experienced Assembly Operatives for our busy manufacturing client based in Elland.
Role summary:
As a Basic Assembly Worker, you will be responsible for assembling components and products according to specified guidelines and standards.
Shift/salary:
- Shifts are Monday to Friday 07:00- 16:15.
- Early 12:00 finish on a Friday.
- £12.21 per hour
- Weekly pay
- Temporary to permanent
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Carrying out simple light assembly, wiring and soldering
- Assembling products from written and verbal instruction
- Checking quality of own work to ensure meeting standards
- Working quickly and carefully to meet deadlines
- Communicating effectively with your colleagues
- Checking and packing products
- Working with large scale products so heavy lifting will be required
- Testing items to ensure they meet company and industry standards
- Working from drawings
The candidate:
- Has previous experience in an assembly or production role, ideally in testing
- Is ideally available for immediate work
- Can communicate well within a team
- Responds well to written and verbal instruction and training
