Cogent Staffing
Cogent Staffing are recruiting for a temporary Class 1 Driver for our Lindley based client. Temporary assignment around 1 week with possibility of work continuing for longer.
Shift/salary & package:
- £18.00 per hour
- Temporary cover
- Full time
- Immediate start
- Weekly pay
- Shift starts 19:00
Role:
- Journey is from Hudderfield to Litchfield and return (one round trip)
- Ensure all paperwork is completed and signed (using handheld devices)
- Stay compliant with all driving regulations (in line with recognition standard)
- Perform daily vehicle checks and report any issues
- Keep in regular contact with our transport office
The candidate:
- Valid Class 1 (HGV) license & driver CPC
- Minimum 12 months’ recent experience
- Excellent driving, communication & customer service skills
- Multi-drop delivery experience is a plus
- A strong safety-first approach
