Shunter (Temporary – 1 Week)
Hours: Monday-Friday 6am-3pm
Pay: £16.63ph
Start Date: Monday 4th August
We are currently seeking a Shunter Driver for a short-term assignment next week. The successful candidate will be responsible for moving trailers to and from the loading bays using a unit. This role involves accessing public roads for short periods, so a licence and relevant experience are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely shunting trailers between loading bays and designated areas
- Operating a unit on-site and occasionally on public roads
- Ensuring all movements are carried out efficiently and safely
- Communicating with the operations team to coordinate trailer movements
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Shunter Driver or similar role
- Valid UK driving licence (HGV C+E essential)
- Good awareness of health and safety procedures
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
