Job description:
Cogent Staffing are recruiting for an experienced Book Categoriser / Book Sorter for our client based in Batley. Work is on a full time basis, temporary ongoing for 3 – 6 months. The successful individual will need to have a genuine passion for books and a good understanding of literature.
Role summary:
This role involves sorting and categorising new and used booked across a broad genre for online listings. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a library or bookshop or a similar environment.
Shift/salary:
- £12.60 per hour
- Temporary ongoing placement (3 – 6 months)
- Monday to Friday
- 08:00-16:15
- 36 hours per week
- Weekly pay
The candidate:
- Can work in a timely and accurate fashion
- Has an in depth knowledge of categorising books according to genre
- Ideally has a background of working in similar role
- Be able to work to tight timescales and deliver exceptional KPI’s
- Can manage own workload with minimal supervision
- Good time management skills
