Cogent Staffing are recruiting for an Internal Recruitment Coordinator for our Batley based client, on a FTC (until December 2025).
Shift/salary:
- Monday to Friday
- 08:00-16:15
- 36 hours per week
- Fixed term contract (6 months). Potential for extension.
- £25,033 salary
- £13.37 per hour
The role:
- To maximise operating hours through optimising shift capacity and filling rotas
- Develop and deliver volunteer recruitment plans
- Have a clear focus on increasing volunteering hours through targeted volunteer recruitment
- Manage and support the induction of volunteers & trainees
- Support volunteer motivation & build retention
- Monitor & meet KPI’s set
- Analyse information from a number of sources and respond to queries, providing appropriate solutions to resourcing issues.
- Contribute to the organisation & implementation of new & established ways of working, systems & processes
- Develop targeted recruitment strategies to attract and onboard volunteers for warehouse operations, with a focus on those supporting festival stock preparation.
- Deliver effective induction programs to ensure new volunteers are well-prepared for their roles in the warehouse, particularly around festival-related activities.
- Implement strategies to retain volunteers through recognition, engagement, and clear communication of their roles in the warehouse, with the option to support festivals if they choose.
- Monitor recruitment metrics, ensuring volunteer numbers meet warehouse operational needs and KPI targets are achieved
The candidate:
- Experienced and has worked in the recruitment sector/industry
- Ability to use & interpret data to deliver KPI’s
- Have excellent organisational & planning skills
- Motivate & support individuals & teams to deliver aims & objectives set Be adaptable & flexible
- Have excellent verbal & written communication skills with the ability to engage with staff & large teams of trainees and volunteers
- Have good time management skills & the ability to manage often conflicting priorities
- Have an awareness of Health & Safety issues
- Have excellent IT Skills & knowledge of social media platforms
- This role may require occasional travel between sites so flexible working may be required at times
