Cogent Staffing are recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Operative on behalf of our Batley based client, on a temporary ongoing basis. The role will work across all warehouse operations supporting high levels of productivity and customer service.
It is essential you are able to work in a fast paced and varied role, working alongside and reporting into your Team Leader.
Shift/salary:
- Monday to Friday
- 08:00-16:15
- 36 hours per week
- £12.00 per hour
- Long term temporary ongoing placement
The role:
- Carry out clearly defined tasks as requested by Team Leaders
- Deliver against KPIs set
- Delivery of required workload in line with agreed standards and warehouse processes
- Work with regard to Health and Safety
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Stock sorting and movement manually and using forklift
- Loading and unloading of containers to site
- Picking and packing items
- Carrying out dispatch duties
- Maintain acceptable levels of housekeeping
- Online sales and inventory
The candidate:
- Has experience picking orders
- Can commute successfully for the required shift start times
- Can read and write English to work from sheets
- Is looking for long term work (permanent role)
- Has evidence of time spent in a similar role
