We are seeking a Materials handler to join our client based in bradford. you will work closley with a production manager to ensure their production plan is adhered to. Ensuring required materials are in stock fed to production accordingly. Updating computer systems and liaising with purchasing departments to order more materials when required.
THE ROLE:
- Work closely with production to support the forward and reverse Supply Chain of
- Raw Materials by using the ERP system to feed production with Raw Materials daily, returning WIP from production back to the warehouse and flagging up any discrepancies to production.
- Complete RAW & WIP Stock counts
- Load/unload vehicles
- Booking in inbounds/Goods receiving, checking inbounds for damage or discrepancies, and sharing with quality/purchasing
- Assist with managing the skips and other waste items as and when required for Plastics
- Locate Raw Materials in the racking
- General housekeeping and keeping the Raw Materials warehouse clean.
- Partake in daily safety hour when required (Engage, MBWA, Safety Meetings etc.).
- Support near miss report investigations.
- Take part in safety training when required.
THE CANDIDATE:
- Excellent communication: written, spoken visual
- Basic computer skills
- FLT Counterbalance licence
- Warehouse/materials handling experience
THE SALARY AND BENEFITS:
- £12.70 – 13.69 per hour (rising once settled and trained)
- Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm
- No weekends
- Permanent job, starting off on the agency.
