Cogent Staffing are recruiting for an experienced Workshop Joiner to join our established client, a furniture and joinery company based in Morley, Leeds. This is an exciting opportunity to join the team as a Workshop Joiner, and is a full time permanent role.
Shifts & salary:
Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week
£13 – £15 an hour
Key Responsibilities:
Taking measurements, cutting and shaping the wood to size.
Assemble cabinets and wooden furniture pieces
Install cabinets in residential or commercial sites
Working alongside the designers and clients to provide a high quality product that meets customer specifications
Repair or replace damaged items
Skills Required:
Strong knowledge in carpentry techniques and tool usage
Knowledge of roof and masonry work for cabinet installments
Ability to assemble and fabricate cabinets installation
Basic understanding pipework and electrics for cabinet installation
Capable of heavy lifting to occasionally move finished products
Skilled in using hand tools such as drills, saws and sanding equipment
Familiarity with painting for cabinet finishing
