Cogent Staffing are recruiting for experienced Order Pickers for our client based in Elland, HX5.
Role summary:
In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing orders for shipment, ensuring that products are handled safely and efficiently. You will play a crucial role in maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting the overall logistics operations.
Shift/salary:
- Immediate start
- Good transport links
- Canteen on site
- Monday to Friday
- 16:00-22:30 (please only apply if you can work these hours)
- Starts from 13:00 may be required so you will need to be able to work flexibly
- £12.62 per hour
- Overtime rates are paid daily (after 8 hours)
- Temporary ongoing assignment
The role:
- Order picking items from order pick sheets using hand held scanners
- Scanning items
- Packing ready for dispatch
- Processing returns
- Warehouse upkeep
- Helping to unload products to site
- Checking and packaging orders
The candidate:
- Ideally has immediate availability to attend an induction
- Has order picking experienced working in a fast paced warehouse environment
- Is physically fit and able to work on foot for the full shift, heavy lifting and moving up and down stairs
