Cogent Staffing are recruiting on behalf of our Burnley based client for a experinced Pipefitter .
They work withing a range of sectors such as Utilities, Power Generation, Defence and Power Generation. Providing services for Fuel Management, Clean Energy Transition and Environmental services.
Package
- £36,000 – £39,000
- Over time rate in addition
- 48 hour working week
- Permanent Role
- Monday to Friday
Duties
- Attending customers sites to complete planned and reactive works, both on and
- around the fuel system, these works include but are not limited to, pipework installation and modification, tank installation and decommissioning, installing/maintaining and replacing of gauges, alarms, filters, valves, pumps and filtration equipment
- Fuel quality work including sampling, uplifting, transferring and filtering of fuel
- Testing of tanks and pipework systems
- Completing site inspections and surveys, including the completion of Oil storage regulations and OFTEC questionnaires / DSEAR reporting o Attending to fuel spills where required and containing/cleaning of contamination
Experience / Qualifications
- Previous experience as a pipefitter
