Forklift Operator
Location: Grimsby, United Kingdom
Our client is looking for skilled Forklift Operators to handle the movement and storage of cargo within their port facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport cargo within the port.
- Safely stack and store goods in designated areas.
- Perform routine checks and maintenance on forklift equipment.
- Follow safety procedures and regulations to ensure a secure working environment.
- Assist with inventory management and reporting.
- Collaborate with other port staff to optimize operations.
Requirements:
- Valid forklift operator certification (B1,B2,B3)
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and port operations.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including nights and weekends.
