Cogent Staffing are recruiting for an experienced and licenced Class 2 ADR Tanker Driver for our Halifax based client. This is a permanent role from day 1 following a successful interview process.

Salary & benefits:

  • Basic pay: £15.02 per hour.
  • Overtime after 40 hours: £17.67 per hour.

The role:

  • Safely deliver various fuel products, including Kerosene, Gas Oil, DERV, HVO, and
  • Industrial Heating Oil.
  • Conduct multi-drop and bulk deliveries using a Class 2 fuel tanker.
  • Complete all necessary legal and compliance documentation accurately and on time.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and our internal operations team.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service and professionalism.
  • Work Monday to Friday, with weekend shifts required during peak periods.
  • Expect shift lengths of approximately 10–12 hours per day.

The candidate:

  • Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
  • ADR Licence (Class 3 in tanks) – essential.
  • Driver CPC qualification and digital tacho card.
  • Strong focus on safety, compliance, and customer service.
  • Flexible and proactive attitude, especially during busy periods.
  • Previous experience in fuel delivery is preferred but not essential (training provided).
