Cogent Staffing are seeking a reliable and skilled Counterbalance FLT Driver to join our clients well established team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of FLT Driving, manufacturing environments, deapatch, and warehousing.
THE ROLE:
- Operate vehicles to transport materials and products to designated locations.
- Load and unload goods ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Assist in the organisation of warehouse operations.
- Perform heavy lifting as required, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness within the vehicle and loading areas.
THE CANDIDIATE:
- Previous experience in a driving role is preferred, with a valid driving licence.
- Valid FLT Counterbalance licence is essential.
- Experience in materials handling and warehouse is essential.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
THE SALARY AND BENEFITS:
- Temporary to permanent contract
- 21.63 per hour
- 6-2/2-10/10-6 (Mornings, Afternoons, Nights) including weekends and 12 hour shifts as part of schedule.
- Company pension scheme of up to 11%
