Cogent Staffing are recruiting for Van Drivers for our client based in HX2, halifax.
This is a short term cover role, with potential to go permanent.
This role involves heavy manual handling as required, and driving a long wheelbase van to deliver products.
Shifts & salary:
- Monday to Friday 8am – 4pm
- £12 an hour
- Ongoing cover role
Role details:
- Loading and unloading van with heavy kegs
- Delivering to customers across the regional area
- Following correct manual handling and equipment training and techniques
- Following planned routes and delivering orders to customers
- Following company health and safety guidelines at all times
- Providing a friendly face of the business to customers
The candidate:
- Must have no more than 6 points on driving licence
- Must be prepared to transport and handle heavy loads
- Comfortable with driving long distances following route navigation
- Immediate starts available.
