Our well established chemical manufacturing client based near Halifax are looking to recruit a Production Operative/Chemical Processor to join their small team on a temporary to permanent basis, the role will be to mix chemicals to form their product to specification.
THE ROLE:
Mixing chemicals, following batch sheets
Assisting with machine clean downs
Weighing chemicals, working with numbers
Working in a team environment, reporting to the supervisor
THE CANDIDATE:
Must have experience in production/machine operating
Mixing experience in chemical or food manufacturing industries is preferred
Experience of working with chemicals is highly advantageous
Must be physically fit due to the nature of the role
Must be confident with numbers and working to specifications
THE SALARY & BENEFITS
£10.80 per hour initially (rises once trained)
Overtime is paid at overtime rates
7:00 – 4:30/8:00 – 17:00 Monday to Friday
Temporary to permanent
