Cogent Staffing are recruiting for an experienced Salesperson with an aptitude for design to join our client, a timber & materials supplier based in Central Huddersfield.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy and dynamic team with clear progression opportunities and a bonus scheme in place.
Shifts & salary:
- Full time permanent position
- Monday – Friday
- 7.30am – 5pm
- £35,000 – £40,000 DOE, must have proven sales experience & timber knowledge
Key responsibilities:
- Working behind a cold call team converting leads from CRM.
- Building sales ledger of accounts.
- Working alongside design team to generate roof truss plans from customer specifications.
- Completing quotes for customers.
- Acting as internal sales support when free from design commitments.
- Business development with cold and prospective clients.
- Site visits as required to meet clients.
Key requirements:
- Must have 2+ years evidenced experience in a sales position, ideally within the timber industry.
- Ideally has knowledge of timber and sheet materials.
- Ideally has joist/truss experience.
- Self motivated to drive a new department and push sales where required.
- Flexible and reactive.
