We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Team Leader for our Huddersfield based client, to oversee warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will lead a team of warehouse associates, ensuring efficient and safe handling of goods while maintaining a high standard of productivity.
Shift/salary:
- Monday to Friday
- 14:00-22:00
- 8 hour shifts
- £12.71 per hour plus weekly bonus
- Weekly pay
- Temporary to permanent opportunity
- £20 per week bonus
The role:
- Supervise daily warehouse operations and manage a team of warehouse associates.
- Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are followed.
- Organize and allocate tasks to team members for optimal efficiency.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in inventory control processes.
- Maintain clear communication with management and other departments.
- Resolve any issues that arise within the warehouse.
- Make sure there is full PPE compliance during the shift.
- Promote safe working.
- Make sure safety of physical environment for self, staff, and visitors to the Warehouse Department
- Contribute to a secure, safe, and healthy working environment (e.g. housekeeping/tidiness checks).
The candidate:
- Proven experience in warehouse operations, with previous leadership experience preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- FLT licence would be beneficial, not essential.
- Full UK driving licence and own transport desired.
