Cogent Staffing are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Customer Service Order Coordinator on a temporary basis, with the role likely to run until around September. There is, however, a permanent role available for the right person.

Shift/salary:

  • 100% office based
  • Working 08:00-16:00 Monday to Friday
  • 1 hour unpaid per day (lunch break)
  • Pay negotiable from £12.21 with a higher pay being offered to those who have evidence of time spent in a similar role (2 years)

Key responsibilities:

  • Take customer orders efficiently and accurately.
  • Upload orders into our system and manage data entry.
  • Handle incoming calls and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Manage email queries and inbound calls (sunshine rule) to support customers and resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Liaise with customers via our website live chat.
  • Liaise with third-party couriers to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Collaborate with our warehouse and manufacturers regarding order queries.
  • Empathize with customers and action any complaints.
  • Perform daily back-end status checks.
  • Collate and prepare reports, analyzing data and information as needed.
  • Input orders, ensuring any order/delivery issues are dealt with effectively and efficiently.
  • Read and analyze data to support decision-making processes.

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Previous customer service experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency in data entry and basic analytics.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
