Job description:
Cogent Staffing are recruiting for Driver/Pickers for our established automotive distribution client based in Leeds, LS12 (Lower Wortley).
This role involves majority driving but you must load your own van and work picking in the warehouse as and when required.
Shifts & salary:
- Monday to Friday 08:30 – 17:30
- Alternating Saturday mornings 08:30 – 12:30
- £12.21 an hour
- 1 hour unpaid break per shift
- 42 hour working week average
- Ongoing temporary role
Role details:
- Picking and loading own van with orders
- Driving to regular customers with around 10-12 drops per run
- Using hand held scanners to pick orders
- Following planned routes and delivering orders to customers
- Manual handling and heavy lifting of up to 30kg when required
- Following company health and safety guidelines at all times
The candidate:
- Must have no more than 6 points on driving licence
- Must be prepared to pick and load own van daily
- Must be capable of lifting up to 30kg
- Comfortable with driving long distances following route navigation
