Job description:
Cogent Staffing are recruiting for Warehouse Operative/Pickers for our established client in Leeds LS12.
This is a temporary to permanent role, with successful candidates taken on as a permanent member of staff after a period of 12 qualifying weeks.
Shifts & salary:
- Monday to Friday 08:00-17:30
- £12.21 per hour
- Temporary ongoing contract
- Weekly pay
The role:
- Receive, check, and process incoming goods.
- Organize and maintain inventory in the warehouse.
- Prepare and package goods for dispatch.
- Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet trucks.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Perform regular stock checks and assist with inventory management.
- Collaborate with team members to meet targets and deadlines.
The candidate:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or goods handling role preferred.
- Valid forklift license is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Good physical fitness and ability to lift heavy items.
