We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our client’s team as an Assembly Operative. This role offers performance-based progression opportunities for pay raises and role upgrades based on your performance after 3-6 months.
Shift/salary:
- Monday to Wednesday: 06:00 – 16:30
- Thursday: 06:00 – 16:00
- Overtime: Available on weekdays (including Friday) at 1.3x hourly rate; weekends at
- 1.5x hourly rate.
- Basic pay £12.85 per hour
Package:
- Temp-to-perm position after 12 weeks.
- Comprehensive training provided, so previous packing experience is not mandatory.
- Training provided on ProSaw equipment, so prior experience is not required.
The role:
- Operate ProSaw machinery for metal cutting tasks.
- Lift and carry metalwork and boxes safely.
- Assist in assembly and soldering of components.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Inspect materials for quality and accuracy before processing.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets.
- Report any equipment issues or safety concerns to supervisors.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
The candidate:
- Ability to lift and carry metalwork and boxes.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Previous assembly, soldering, and warehouse experience is advantageous.
- Forklift license is a plus.
