Cogent Staffing are recruiting for an experienced Sales Engineer to join our client based in Manchester. This role is working in the metal fabrication industry. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the industry and relevant skills, and be happy with an office based role.
Shifts & Salary:
- Full-time permanent position
- Monday to Friday
- Working hours: 7:30 AM – 4:15 PM
- Office-based role
- Salary: £50,000 per annum
- Annual company sales bonus
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed and accurate quotes for customers based on project specifications and requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure timely execution of contracts and adherence to quality standards.
- Assist in developing and implementing effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
- Provide technical assistance to customers, addressing any inquiries or issues regarding sheet metal fabrication.
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
Key Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in metal fabrication or related field necessary.
- Proven experience as a Sales Engineer or Contracts Manager.
- Full driving license and own transport.
- Ideally possess CAD skills for design and quoting purposes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
