Job Title: Port Operative
Location: DN19, United Kingdom
We are seeking dedicated and hardworking Port Operatives to join our team and support the smooth and efficient running of our port facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload cargo from vessels and trucks.
- Operate port machinery and equipment such as forklifts and tugs.
- Assist with the safe and efficient handling of goods.
- Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a secure work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize port operations.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in port operations is an advantage but not essential.
- Experience in similar role such as port operative, stevedore, plant driver, forklift driver, vehicle banksman, slinger banksman, crane driver, warehouse operative, weighbridge is highly desirable
- Ability to operate machinery and equipment safely.
- Strong physical fitness and ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including nights and weekends.
