Cogent Staffing
Cogent Staffing are recruiting on behalf of our client based in M50, Salford, for experienced Class 1 Drivers. The ideal candidate will be happy with all details below with a valid Digitacograph and CPC, and full UK driving licence.
Shifts & salary:
- Day shifts 6am – 6pm, 4 on 4 off
- Shift work including weekends
- Monday to Friday rate £18.88 per hour
- Saturday rate £21.48 per hour
- Sunday rate £23.04 per hour
Key responsibilities:
- Operating HGV Class 1 vehicles safely and according to company procedure.
- Shunting tanks from Manchester to Liverpool for washing.
- Conducting minor prep work tasks, such as opening lids.
- Conducting all training necessary as required.
- Potentially driving deliveries on curtain side trailers once trained.
Key requirements
- No more than 6 points on UK driving licence
- Digi and CPC
- Ideally has 2 years HGV Class 1 driving experience
- Happy to carry out small prep tasks
- Candidates will be invited for a driving assessment if shortlisted for the role.
