We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Supervisor on behalf of our client based in Bradford. The ideal candidate will have previous supervisory experience
Salary, shift & benefits:
- £29,000 salary
- Working shifts Monday to Friday, flexibility required
- Permanent role
THE ROLE:
- Supervising/managing, organising, and motivating a logistics team
- Liaising with and supporting management and other departments
- Conducting returns to work
- Ensuring customer requirements are met in a timely fashion in line with SOPs
- Consider safety of staff on site at all times
- Operating a warehouse management system to control all aspects of stock management
- Reporting to Warehouse Manager
THE CANDIDATE:
- Will have previous experience in a supervisory role
- Strong leadership skills
- Warehousing, logistics and distribution experience is essential
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
- Excellent organisation skills
- Has previous experience operating a warehouse management system
- Is professional and has a good eye for detail
- Counterbalance license would be beneficial, not essential
