Job Description:
As an Order Picker, you will play a key role in our logistics team, ensuring that orders are accurately picked, packed, and prepared for shipment.
Shift/salary:
- Monday to Friday
- 09:00-17:30
- £12.21 per hour
- Weekly pay
- Temporary ongoing placement
Responsibilities:
- Efficiently pick and pack orders, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Move pallets using a pump truck, handling weights up to 250 kg.
- Transfer boxes from pallet to pallet to complete rework tasks.
- Collaborate with team members to assist with heavy lifting and reworking items.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure workplace safety.
Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move heavy boxes and pallets, with 70% of tasks being light and
- 30% requiring physical strength.
- Must be able to speak English.
- Good physical fitness to handle strenuous activities as needed.
- Team-oriented attitude, willing to assist and support colleagues.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is a plus.
