Cogent Staffing
We are seeking a skilled driver to join our client’s Leeds team on a relief/cover basis to assist with covering holidays, absences and recovery work if breakdowns have occurred. While primarily based at their Leeds site, flexibility to work from other locations may be required.
Shift/salary:
- Full training will be given
- PAY – £13.60 for the first 40 hours then £20.34 there after
- 40 hours per week Monday to Friday
- 04:00 – approx. 14:00 (depending on workload)
- Dates of work confirmed as needed
- Opportunities for more full time ongoing work for the right person
The role:
- Safely operate Class 2 trade waste vehicles, engaging in regular manual labour.
- Transport recyclable and waste materials to designated locations.
- Adhere to company policies, including health and safety regulations, at all times.
The candidate:
- Experience in waste operations and familiarity with local routes would be beneficial.
- A minimum of 2 years driving experience.
- A valid driver CPC qualification and digital tachograph card.
- A clean driving record with no more than 6 points on your license.
- Reliability, trustworthiness, and excellent communication skills.
- A polite and professional demeanor.
