Cogent staffing is recruiting on behalf of our client for a regional sales manager covering the Southeast of England.
The role will be joining of their Contract Sales Division expanding their sales team further as the client continue their exciting expansion plans.
The position is field based with a focus on new business activity as well as some management and growth of existing accounts.
Now into their 133rd year, our client are a long established privately owner UK manufacturer, supplier and installer of Kitchens, Bedrooms & Bathroom cabinetry into multiple markets including; PBSA (student accommodation), Care and Hotel sectors.
Package:
- Basic salary of up to £55,000
- OTE £70,000
- Bonus scheme linked to turnover – £20k per annum based on £2m turnover
- Company car or car allowance
- Company pension
- 25 days holiday (this includes the Christmas shutdown)
- Staff purchase scheme after qualifying period.
Duties:
All Sales activity within a specified geographical area to include:
- Managing relationships and opportunities from our existing client base
- Identifying new targets of opportunity
- Formulating plans and strategies to gain contacts with target organizations, leading to obtaining opportunities to tender on new sites / projects.
- Planning appropriate responses to those opportunities and compile detailed and accurate briefs for submission into the Design & Estimating Team
- Be clear on the commercial requirements of each opportunity and work alongside the
- Design & Estimation teams to achieve the necessary outcome.
- Use CRM system as company process to register and track opportunities. To compile reports and forecasts for the Head of Contract and Sales Director as required.
- Attend any Internal, or external client meetings as required.
- Follow company process at all times, and engage as appropriate with any other department Head, or member of the board of directors in order to progress an opportunity.
- To assist the Installation and Customer service teams in the resolution of issues arising on site where Sales support is required.
- The ability to create and present persuasive documents for internal and external stakeholders.
Experience:
- A Proven background in the Contract Kitchen, Bedrooms & Bathroom marketplace, or closely related product
- The ability to fully understand a customer brief and robustly communicate with the design team to ensure planning conditions are met within a given budget
- A good knowledge of kitchen, bedroom & bathroom design in order to have persuasive customer relationships effecting conversion outcomes
- Industry contacts preferable
- A working knowledge of furniture installation processes & needs
- A working knowledge of materials and processes used in the furniture industry.
- A knowledge of furniture industry material
