Sheet Metal Fabricator

Our client is a well-established company specializing in sheet metal components for the HVAC industry. They are seeking a skilled fabricator or Sheet Metal Worker to join their team in Bradford.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fabricate and assemble sheet metal products, specifically ductwork and fittings.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Operate metalworking machinery, including shears, brakes, and plasma cutters.
• Ensure all work meets quality standards and specifications.
• Conduct inspections of finished products to ensure proper dimensions and fit.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to specification.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety regulations.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a sheet metal worker, preferably in ducting or HVAC.
• Proficient in using hand tools and machinery related to sheet metal fabrication.
• Strong understanding of metal properties and fabrication techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
