Cogent Staffing are looking for a dedicated and skilled Mattress Tape Edger to join our client, a manufacturing company based in Morley.

• £13.50 – £15.50 per hour, depending on experience
• Monday to Friday
• 07:00 – 16:00
• Full time permanent opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Operate tape edge machines to expertly edge mattress covers.
• Utilise hand and power tools for cutting fabric and assembling components.
• Execute fabrication tasks while ensuring all materials adhere to quality standards.
• Assemble mattress components according to specified production schedules.
• Conduct routine maintenance on machinery and tools to maintain optimal performance.
• Lift heavy materials as necessary while strictly following safety protocols.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve production goals.

Key Requirements

• Proven mechanical knowledge with troubleshooting abilities for equipment issues.
• Experience with hand and power tools in a manufacturing or warehouse setting.
• Familiarity with tapping techniques and fabric handling is a plus.
• Previous experience in fabrication or assembly roles is essential.
• Capable of performing heavy lifting and adhering to safety guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality output.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
