Service Coordinator (FTC)

Cogent Staffing are seeking a skilled Project Coordinator to join our client based in Huddersfield. In this role, you will be essential in ensuring seamless operation and excellent customer service through effective project management and administrative support.

Work Details & Salary

• Salary: £25,000 – £30,000 per year
• Contract Length: 14 months

Key Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to customer requirements, including RFQs and Purchase Orders, particularly during urgent breakdown situations, to ensure outstanding customer service.
• Maintain accurate project data within the ERP system, managing all associated administrative tasks.
• Organize Engineer site visits, handling arrangements for travel, accommodation, and on-site logistics.
• Coordinate transport and spares operations across Workshop, Assembly, Blast, and
• Paint departments for in-house projects.
• Generate Purchase Orders for external works and liaise with sub-contractors effectively.
• Create Job, Sales, and Manufacturing Orders for Service & Repair projects, ensuring accurate Due Dates to facilitate on-time deliveries.
• Collaborate with Production and other teams to confirm lead times for manufactured and purchased parts necessary for various projects.
• Review and validate Engineer Site Visit and Workshop Inspection Reports, working with the Mechanical team to address any outstanding issues.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through effective communication and problem resolution.
