- Operate Slitter/Rewinder: Minimize scrap levels.
- Ensure packaging and labelling meet standards.
- Safely store finished products following stacking guidelines.
- Adhere to operational instructions.
- Assist in minimizing downtime during breaks.
- Conduct inspections, report defects, and assist with maintenance.
- Engage in the client’s performance system.
- Report near misses and contribute to risk assessments.
- Perform other trained tasks as needed.
- Previous production or manufacturing experience.
- FLT counterbalance certification.
- Proficient in Word and Excel.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Strong communication abilities.
- Lead by example and promote continuous improvement.
- Basic tool-use skills.
- Own transport required due to limited public transport options.
- 33.6 hours over a 5-week shift rota.
- Work 2 consecutive weekends out of 5
- Weekdays: 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am
- Weekends: 6am-6pm & 6pm-6am
- £22.31 per hour
- Temporary to permanent after 12 weeks.
