- Maintain regular communication with existing accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and strengthen relationships.
- Identify and pursue potential customers to generate new business opportunities.
- Utilise appropriate techniques to assess customer needs and provide suitable product or service options.
- Handle incoming requests, provide accurate quotations, process orders, and ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Maintain up-to-date customer information, notes, and updates within our systems.
- Track sales activities and maintain necessary records to maximise opportunities.
- Manage your own pipeline, ensuring timely follow-ups and call-backs.
- Adhere to all industry regulations and company procedures to ensure compliance.
- Contribute to process improvements by sharing insights and reporting product issues.
- Foster strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and internal departments to enhance collaboration.
- Support team members and participate in training sessions as required.
- Uphold high standards of personal conduct and professionalism.
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Apply negotiation skills and manage margins to aid business growth.
- Monitor performance and strive to meet monthly and company KPIs.
- Proven experience in a similar sales role with a track record of managing customer accounts and generating new business.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills to maintain accurate records and customer information.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills to foster strong relationships.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects efficiently.
- Proficient in negotiation techniques and margin management.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and compliance in documentation.
- Must have own transport for travel to client meetings and site visits.
