Manufacturing Operative

We are seeking a detail-oriented Manufacturing Operative to join our dynamic team at our BD4 facility. This role is ideal for individuals who possess a strong aptitude for working with hand tools and machinery. Full training will be provided, and there are opportunities for upskilling within the company.

THE ROLE:

• Operate and maintain various hand tools and machinery in the manufacturing process.
• Perform assembly work, ensuring components are correctly assembled and meet quality standards.
• Follow work instructions and adhere to specifications to ensure product quality.
• Conduct regular inspections of products to ensure precision and quality.
• Collaborate with team members to improve production processes and efficiency.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge related to manufacturing operations.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.

CANDIDATE:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is desirable but not essential.
• Competence in using hand tools and machinery; a keen eye for detail is a must.
• Experience with assembly work is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards work and learning.
