- Develop and refine manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and quality across all operations.
- Engage in fixture development and implement strategies to enhance assembly operations.
- Design new systems, equipment, and processes to facilitate new product introductions and improve existing products.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure all product and system requirements are met.
- Experience in creating effective automated and non-automated systems and perform testing on manufacturing processes.
- Maintain and update PFMEA as necessary and ensure alignment of Engineering and
- Manufacturing BOMs (EBOM/MBOM) with the operations team’s assembly methods.
- Evaluate manufacturing processes based on quality and efficiency, and lead change management initiatives.
- Promote SQDC (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost) principles in all projects.
- Participate in Design for Manufacture (DfM) and Design for Assembly (DfA) discussions to ensure a smooth transition to full production.
- Support review and tender stages for new equipment by collaborating with internal stakeholders to finalize technical specifications.
- Liaise appropriately with suppliers and customers throughout project execution.
- Must hold a HND or equivalent qualification in Manufacturing Engineering; ideally working towards a Bachelor’s degree.
- Proficient in CAD software (2D and 3D), preferably AutoCAD and Siemens NX.
- Strong communication skills for conveying technical information effectively to various stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written skills, along with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Capacity to work efficiently within project teams while being well-organised and detail-oriented.
- Proven time management skills with a commitment to delivering high-quality work and strategic improvement for future developments.
