Job Description:

Our client is recruiting for a Warehouse/Counter Sales Associate to join their team in a busy site based in Bradford.

Shift & salary details

  • Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 08:00-17:00
  • Thursday 08:00-19:30
  • Sunday 07:30-13:00
  • 46.5 hours per week
  • £12.21 per hour
  • Ongoing temporary position until end of January 2026

About the role:

As a Warehouse / Counter Sales Associate, you will be responsible for stocking shelves, providing customer service at the counter, and handling transactions. Your role will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Stock shelves with products in the warehouse.
  • Assist customers at the counter, processing sales transactions.
  • Provide excellent customer service and address customer inquiries.
  • Perform manual handling tasks, including lifting and moving stock.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and counter area.
  • Ensure products are displayed correctly and are well-stocked.
  • Assist in inventory management and stock rotation.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to achieve store goals.

Key Requirements

  • Must speak English fluently.
  • Ideally possess your own transport for commuting.
  • Previous customer service experience is preferred.
  • Ability to carry out manual handling tasks safely.
  • Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
  • Basic math skills for handling cash and transactions.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as needed
