Warehouse Operative (Nights)

Cogent Staffing are recruiting for Night Shift Warehouse Operatives for our Bradford (BD7) based client. It is essential you’re able to work nights, full time and are reliable, hardworking and punctual.

Shift/salary:

• Sunday to Thursday
• 21:30-06:00
• £12.50 per hour
• Weekly pay
• Temporary to permanent

Key Responsibilities:

• Pick and pack items accurately and efficiently for dispatch.
• Load and unload delivery vehicles, ensuring goods are handled safely.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
• Assist with inventory management, including stock counts and replenishment.
• Follow company policies and procedures relating to health and safety.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational targets.
• Conduct quality checks on items to ensure they meet company standards.
• Report any damaged items or discrepancies to the supervisor promptly.
• Support other warehouse functions as required, including assembly and sorting of furniture.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and best practices while on the job.

Requirements:

• Previous warehouse experience preferred, but not essential.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items safely.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work night shifts and potentially overtime as needed.
