- Safely operate a van to deliver products to local customers.
- Ensure timely deliveries, typically completed by the afternoon.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and handle any customer inquiries during deliveries
- Assist in yard duties, including unloading and organizing stock.
- Engage in heavy lifting and manual work, maintaining physical fitness.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Present a professional image while interacting with customers and the public.
- Demonstrate politeness and helpfulness in all customer dealings.
- Must be over 25 years old for insurance purposes.
- Valid clean UK driving license
- Experience in driving and delivering goods preferred.
- Physically fit, with the ability to perform heavy lifting tasks using sufficient manual handline techniques.
- Excellent communication skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- £13.00 – £14.00 per hour
- Health and safety training provided.
- Ongoing from march – end of summer (possibility of a permanent contract depending on timekeeping, attendance and ability to do the role)

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Van Driver/Yard Operative for our well-established client based in Preston. The primary responsibility of this role is to deliver products to customers’ homes within a 25-mile radius. The successful candidate will also assist in yard operations, involving physical labour and heavy lifting. This role will start in 2 weeks time.
