Assembly Operative

Cogent Staffing are collaborating with a local manufacturer on the lookout for a diligent and dependable individual to enhance their assembly team.

Shift/salary & benefits:

• £14.70 per hour
• Weekly pay
• 14:00-22:00 shift (permanently)

The role:

• Construct products and various components utilizing hand tools
• Assemble motors, actuators, side rails, and electronic controls
• Accurately interpret and follow detailed assembly guidelines and build sheets
• Perform quality assurance checks to verify product functionality and safety
• Handle and transport parts safely within the workshop environment
• Ensure that the workspace is tidy, organized, and free from hazards
• Work collaboratively with the team to achieve daily production goals

The candidate:

• A strong commitment to work and a positive, proactive mindset
• Keen attention to detail with a focus on high-quality results
• Dependable and punctual, with a readiness to learn new skills
• Capability to function both independently and as part of a team
• Experience with hand tools is a plus but not mandatory; full training will be provided
