Cogent Staffing are recruiting for Van Drivers for our client based in HD2, Huddersfield.
This is a temp to perm role, with a permanent contract available after 12 weeks.
This role involves loading and delivering fresh food products to customers across North England and North Wales.
Shifts & salary:
- Monday to Saturday
- Must work every Saturday – non-negotiable
- One day off mid week, rotating weekly
- £12.21 an hour
- 5am/7am start
- 40 hours a week with potential OT
Role details:
- Loading and unloading van with food products
- Delivering to customers across the North of England
- Following correct manual handling and equipment training and techniques
- Following planned routes and delivering orders to customers
- Following company health and safety guidelines at all times
- Providing a friendly face of the business to customers
The candidate:
- Must have no more than 6 points on driving licence
- Must have previous driving experience
- Must be happy working Saturdays
- Must be prepared to transport and handle heavy loads if required
- Comfortable with driving long distances following route navigation
- Immediate starts available.
