FLT Driver/Warehouse Operative

Cogent Staffing are recruiting for an experienced FLT Driver/Warehouse Operative on a temporary basis for our Huddersfield based client. This role is temporary only.

Shift/salary:

• Monday to Friday
• 09:00-17:00
• £12.50 per hour
• Immediate start
• Temporary position throughout December with possibility of returning in January
• depending on requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate counterbalance forklift trucks in a safe and efficient manner.
• Load and unload goods from delivery vehicles and containers.
• Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure safe operation.
• Accurately pick and pack orders for dispatch.
• Assist with organizing and maintaining inventory within the warehouse.
• Follow all health and safety regulations and adhere to company policies.

Requirements:

• In-date counterbalance FLT (Forklift Truck) licence is essential.
• Previous experience as a warehouse operative or in a related role preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to lift heavy items and perform physically demanding tasks as required.
