Cogent Staffing are seeking a reliable and skilled Assembly Operative to join our client’s team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling flat-pack furniture at various locations including the site.
Shift/salary:
- Monday to Friday
- 09:00-17:00
- Temporary ongoing with possibility for a permanent role for the right person
- £13.00 – £15.00 per hour
- In order to be considered for the higher rate you must have your own tools, delivery driving experience and minimum 5 years experience assembling furniture
The role:
- Assemble flat-pack furniture according to manufacturer instructions.
- Ensure high-quality workmanship and attention to detail.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Making deliveries of furniture as needed, and assembling on site if and when needed.
The candidate:
- Proven experience in furniture assembly or related field.
- Must have a valid driving license to drive company sprinter van as needed.
- Own tools required for assembly tasks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills. #
