Cogent Staffing are recruiting on behalf of our client based in Huddersfield. We are looking for an experienced FLT Driver to join them.
Role summary:
The FLT Driver/Warehouse Operative plays a crucial role in the efficient operation of the warehouse during the late shift. This position involves the use of a Forklift Truck (FLT) to move, locate, and retrieve products throughout the warehouse, ensuring that all tasks are completed accurately and on time.
Shifts & salary:
- Training in April on 9am-5pm shift
- Moving onto afternoon shift 2pm-10pm
- £12.21 per hour plus £20 per week shift allowance
- Weekly pay
- Temp to perm
Key responsibilities:
- Operate the FLT (counterbalance)
- Conversion to operate VNA and more licences
- Load and unload vehicles to site
- Move stock in and around the warehouse
- Locate and label stock within the production/warehouse environments
- Pick orders using FLT and manually
- Stack products
- Reverse through the warehouse on FLT
Experience:
- Must hold an in-date Counterbalance Licence
- Worked within a warehouse setting operating forklifts
- Has a good eye for detail and can read and write in English
- Happy to work on a short term contract
- Can commute to Huddersfield HD5
