Warehouse Operative

Our client based in M50 are looking for experienced Food Production/Warehouse Operatives to join them on a long-term temporary to permanent basis.

You must be reliable, punctual and hardworking, and ideally also have food production/packing experience or have spent time in a food handling environment.

Role summary:

We are looking for dedicated Food Production Warehouse Operatives to join our team in a flour bagging plant. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the efficient bagging and handling of flour products. The successful candidates must be able to work day and night shifts on a rotating continental shift pattern.

Shifts/salary:

• The shift pattern is 4 on 4 off
• 06:00-18:00 and 18:00-06:00
• £14.51 per hour
• 30 mins unpaid break per shift (11.5 hours paid per shift)
• Must be available to work weekdays and weekends – days and nights
• Temporary to permanent placement
• Weekly pay

You will be working in a busy warehouse carrying out the following duties:

• Picking ingredients from the racking
• Loading pallets
• Lifting up to 15kg items
• Logging information on the stick system
• Loading conveyors

The candidate:

• Must be reliable and able to work all shifts required
• Ideally has experience working in food manufacturing
• Is looking for full time work temporary to permanent
• Can carry out lifting of 15kg bags
• Is receptive to training and looking for career progression
• Has a solid work history and evidence of time spent in production, manufacturing or machine operating roles
• Counterbalance FLT licence would be beneficial, is not essential
