Cogent Staffing are recruiting for an experienced and motivated Order Picker to join our client’s dynamic team.
Role summary:
In this role, you will be responsible for picking fixings, hardware, fasteners, and tools. Your ability to read pick notes and complete dispatch paperwork accurately will be essential in maintaining high standards of service.
Shift/salary:
- £12.21 per hour
- Weekly pay
- Working Monday to Friday
- 08:00-16:00
- Temporary to permanent opportunity
- Free parking
- Immediate start
Responsibilities:
- Efficiently pick high-volume small items based on provided pick notes.
- Accurately complete dispatch paperwork to ensure timely delivery.
- Operate the warehouse management system to track inventory and orders.
- Perform general warehousing tasks, including restocking shelves and organizing inventory.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in order picking or warehouse operations is preferred.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Good organizational skills and ability to work as part of a team.
