We are currently seeking a Fabricator/Sheet Metal Worker to join our team in manufacturing sheet metal products for the HVAC industry. We value strong fabrication skills and relevant sheet metal experience. The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience with ductwork fabrication.
- Ability to work under pressure and adjust hours to meet targets.
- Proficient in reading and understanding construction and manufacture drawings.
- Punctual and reliable with a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a hands-on environment.
The Role:
- Manufacture items from galvanized steel (0.8mm to 2mm).
- Ensure compliance with DW144 Regulations in ductwork production.
- Operate machinery including CNC plasma cutter, brake press, and MIG welders.
- Maintain daily records of attendance and job descriptions (timesheet).
- Complete inspection tickets for each manufactured item before dispatch.
The Hours & Salary Information:
- Upto £14.00 per hour DOE
- Monday to Friday 07:00 – 16:00
- Weekly pay
- Permanent positions available following 12 successful weeks through the agency.
